Julian started his art practice in the late 1990’s/early 2000’s. He used construction paper and pencil to draw Pokémon and his personal life experiences during his childhood. He has always been interested in how art tells a story.
Julian decided to join Make Studio in January 2016 because he admired the artwork and creative environment. He takes great passion in his artwork and really enjoys the creative process. He is working on his “magnum opus.” One day he hopes to have his own animated series, comic book series, and museum. He also wants to meet Matt Groening. Julian is willing to work in any art format and has already experimented with digital art and lots of 2D mediums. He wants to work more on 3D work with ceramics and fabric while at Make Studio.
Outside his time in the studio, Julian enjoys dancing (by himself or with others), watching cartoons, playing Nintendo videogames, drawing, and seeing movies in theaters. His imagination, his childhood, and cartoons inspire all of Julian’s work.
