Aimee originally began her artistic pursuits in oil painting as a way to share art with her blind grandmother who could feel the texture of the oil paint. Art then became more important for Aimee as she pursued it both at school and at home for fun. Aimee works from images that pop into her mind, or looks up images on the internet. She is fascinated by textures and can be inspired by something as subtle as the wrinkles on a piece of paper. Much of Aimee's subject matter involves animals and/or anime. She works in many different media from oil paints, to sculpture, to crocheting, to digital art and photography. In the community, Aimee works at Miller's Minutemen Press where she does filing, which she loves. She enjoys playing video games, watching Dr. Who, Eureka, and anime. Aimee is a graduate of Franklin High School.
